We would like to inform you that Moxa has made changes to ThingsPro Edge 2.3.0 for the UC-2112
Series, UC-3100 Series, UC-8100A-ME-T Series, UC-8200 Series, and UC-8112-LX.
These changes were implemented on July 31, 2022.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
ThingsPro Edge 2.3.0-3571 now supports the UC-2112 Series, UC-3100 Series, UC-8100A-ME-T Series, UC-8200 Series, and UC-8112-LX.

What will change?
ThingsPro Edge 2.3.0-3571 now supports the UC-2112 Series, UC-3100 Series, UC-8100A-ME-T Series, UC-8200 Series, and UC-8112-LX.
New features for ThingsPro Edge 2.3.0:
- Supports Function Management to monitor the status of custom applications.
- Supports Azure IoT Edge 1.2 for Moxa AIG series devices.
- Supports RESTful API to create/delete/update virtual tags. For additional information click here.
- Added a network inspection function to display the Internet connection status.
The following issues were fixed:
- The "Error: Initialize module NotSupport" message was displayed when SIM cards were switched multiple times.
- Heavy CPU loading occurs when the LAN2 DHCP Server is enabled.
- The OPC UA server crashed when configurations changed and tag updates were performed simultaneously.
These enhancements were made to ThingsPro Edge 2.3.0:
- Supports Moxa Industrial Linux (MIL) 1.1.0.
- Disables the DHE_EXPORT suite to protect against TLS/SSL LOGJAM attacks.
- Moves the DHCP server enablement function to under System service (new path: MAINTENANCE > Enablement > System).
- Displays a message when the SD card is not accessible.
- Added an option to enable/disable the OPC UA Server (default: disabled).
- Added a memory usage inspection function to check the data size when a value is written into a writable tag.
These changes are included:
- Supports 2.4 GHz only for the Wi-Fi Access Point mode.
- The input type for Polling Interval and Send Threshold of telemetry messages is now an Integer only field.
